Welcome Rodeo Fans! My name is Sierra Taylor, and I am truly honored to be your 2011 Miss Redding Rodeo. I am 21 years old, and was born and raised in Redding CA. I graduated from Foothill High School in 2007 and I am currently a student at Shasta College pursuing a career in nursing.

I have always had a love for horses, rodeo and the lifestyle that comes with it. I started competing in gymkhana when I was 4 years old, I earned my first state championship title when I was 10 years old. At the age of 14 I won my first trophy saddle and my second state championship title, and just last year I broke my first state record in pole bending. I hope to continue to compete in barrel racing and someday compete in PRCA rodeos.

Becoming Miss Redding Rodeo has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I was born and raised down at the Redding Rodeo grounds and this association is like a family to me. I wear this crown to not only represent the great sport of rodeo but to represent an amazing group of people! For many years I have looked up to the Miss Redding Rodeo in awe, and I am so blessed to finally have the opportunity to live my dream!

I want to thank my friends and family for being there for me throughout my journey, a huge thanks to the rodeo association for all of their support, and thank you to the sponsors and the rodeo fans who keep this sport alive.

I hope you enjoy the 63rd annual Redding Rodeo!

God Bless
Sierra Taylor
