Howdy and welcome to the Redding Rodeo Association’s website. My name is Bob VanHorn, 2008 president of the Rodeo Association. I am pleased you have taken the time to look at our website. I hope it has all the answers you are looking for.

This year will be the 60th anniversary of the Redding Rodeo and our fine association. I hope all of you will make time in your busy schedules to come down and be a part of this year’s Redding Rodeo. We are one of the finest and largest rodeos in the nation.

With the commitment of many hard working volunteers, we hope to bring you the best athletes - both two and four legged - from all over our great nation, and assemble them to make the finest PRCA rodeo ever. Filling out the agenda for this years event are: the voice talents of Arena Announcer Wayne Brooks and booth announcer Will Rasmussan, bullfighters Justin Clark and Erik Layton, Barrelman Crash Cooper, Specialty Act - the One Armed Bandit, and additionally those gentle giants - the Budweiser Clydesdales.

This year we are back on the PRCA tour; this ensures us of the top rodeo cowboys and cowgirls in the seven event showcase.
