A Tradition Worth Protecting
The Redding Rodeo has never belonged to a single company or agency. Since 1948, it has been powered entirely by volunteers, sponsors, ranchers, and neighbors who believe in keeping the West alive for the next generation. These very grounds hosted one of rodeo's most legendary moments: on May 20, 1988, world champion Lane Frost made his historic ride on the bull Red Rock, a night still talked about across the sport today. In 2016, the Redding Rodeo was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, a recognition earned through decades of community effort rather than any single sponsor.
Friends of Redding Rodeo is the nonprofit working behind the scenes to support and grow this tradition. Every dollar raised at the Gala goes directly toward improving and expanding the rodeo grounds, so this entirely community-run event can keep welcoming cowboys, cowgirls, and families for generations to come.

Sponsorship is what makes this night, and this rodeo, possible. Every level includes a reserved table for eight guests and puts your name behind a cause the whole community can be proud of.
- Title Sponsor, $10,000 (one only): Exclusive Gala title recognition, VIP parking for guests, a premium reserved table for eight, a dedicated white glove table server, featured on stage remarks, premier logo placement across all printed and digital materials, multiple verbal recognitions throughout the evening, first right of refusal for future title sponsorship, and social media feature posts.
- Platinum Sponsor, $7,500 (limited to two): Presenting sponsor recognition, VIP parking, a dedicated table server, prominent logo placement on signage and displays, on stage recognition, and social media recognition.
- Gold Sponsor, $5,000: A reserved table for eight, logo recognition on sponsor signage, program recognition, and social media recognition.
- Silver Sponsor, $2,500: A reserved table for eight, program recognition, and social media recognition.
