Redding Rodeo Launch Party presented by Edward Jones
The 78th Annual Redding Rodeo introduces an exciting new tradition with the debut of the Redding Rodeo Launch Party. Held on Saturday, May 9, this event takes place in the heart of the rodeo arena and serves as the official kickoff to rodeo week.
Replacing the traditional Steak Feed, the Launch Party reimagines the experience as a high-energy, family-friendly evening designed to bring the community together. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, great food, and activities for all ages in a setting that reflects the spirit and tradition of the Redding Rodeo.
The evening will feature live music from Jake Jacobson, line dancing led by Better in Boots, and the crowd-favorite Mutton Bustin’. Tri-tip sandwich meals will be served, along with kids meal options, and a full bar will be available throughout the event.
Event Details:
- Gates open at 5:00 PM
- Line dancing begins at 5:00 PM
- Mutton Bustin’ runs from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Tri-tip meals served from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Jake Jacobson performs live at 8:00 PM
Pre-sale tri-tip dinner tickets are available for $20 online and will be $25 at the event.
